We, as in humankind, have not only the tendency to love but to socialize. Whether it's through face to face interactions such as going to the movies with friends, or through the internet through social networks such as facebook and skype. (SN: check out oovoo.com. A person who understands their shortcomings yet continues to love them. A person who will advise and correct in love and without belittling.
Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that are hard and we need help. However, pride can get in the way of admitting or asking a friend. "I'm just going to pray about it and leave it to the Lord." This is what I hear a lot of people say. This is a great first start but you can't just pray and not do anything! The Bible says faith without works is dead! (James 2:17) We need to DO something! Walk by faith! If it's something you need help with, find a friend to pray with you, motivate you, be there in the trenches with you! Sometimes we need help to get where we're going.
